Before joining HRMS, Paul was Director of Development at Aurora University , overseeing the school’s fund-raising efforts. Prior to that, Paul held a variety of positions at Moose International including VP-Chief Operating Officer for Moose Charities. He also spent 10 years as Director of Human Resources and Payroll, responsible for  hiring, placement, training, discipline, compensation, and benefits communications for the fraternal organization’s 825 employees.

Paul earned an M.S. in Education Administration from Northern Illinois University , DeKalb , Illinois , and also holds a B.S. in Industrial Education and several Illinois State teaching Certifications.

Paul is a member of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce HR Illinois Advisory Board, a group of professionals from the Illinois business community who author the Chamber's timely compliance publications and teach the compliance seminars. He also is a member of DuPage SHRM. Paul is a resident of North Aurora, and was named North Auroran of the year in 1996.
