Michael has more than twenty years experience in the financial services industry. He came to, HRMS from MTL Insurance Company (formerly Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company), Oak Brook, Illinois where he developed a keen customer-service focus. In his most recent MTL position, Michael led a team whose primary objective was to deliver best-in-class service to insurance clients and their advisors.

Michael was a founding member and active participant of MTL's Business Practices Committee, a group of senior executives dedicated to assuring that all aspects of Mutual Trust's businesses operated within the appropriate regulatory framework, and with the highest ethical standards. As Mutual Trust Compliance Officer, Michael headed a team that developed and documented processes and procedures leading to the successful qualification (and re-qualification) for membership in the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association. He was also a general securities principal and member of the Board of Directors of MTL Equity Products, Inc., Mutual Trust's broker/dealer subsidiary.

Professionally Michael has achieved the following designations: Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fellow, Life Management Institute, Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance, and Associate, Customer Service. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from theUniversity of , and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
